Blozzle does not collect anything about you. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no cookies. The game sends nothing about how you play to anyone, including us.
That is the whole policy. The rest of this page explains the details, because a claim this broad is worth backing up.
What the game keeps on your device
Blozzle saves a few things in your browser's local storage so the game remembers your settings and your record between visits. This never leaves your device, and we cannot read it.
| Stored | What it is for |
|---|---|
blozzle.best | Your highest endless score |
blozzle.daily | Your result on today's board |
blozzle.dailyRun | A daily run you paused, so you can finish it |
blozzle.run | An endless run you left, so you can come back to it |
blozzle.streak | How many days in a row you have played |
blozzle.theme | Light, dark, or following your device |
blozzle.text | Your text size setting |
blozzle.motion | Your motion setting |
blozzle.sound | Whether the game makes a sound |
blozzle.skin | Which board look you chose |
blozzle.economy | A marker that retires old scores when scoring rules change |
None of it identifies you. There is no name, no email address, no device identifier and no advertising ID, because the game never asks for any and has nowhere to send one.
When something leaves your device
Two things can, and both of them are you choosing to send something. Neither happens on its own.
Sharing a result
When you choose to share a result. Tapping Share builds a link that carries your result in its address — your score, how many lines you cleared, how much overgrowth you collected, and for a daily run the date, your streak and a picture of the board you finished on.
That link goes wherever you send it. Two consequences worth understanding:
- Whoever receives it can read your result, which is the point of sharing.
- Messaging apps generally fetch a shared link to build a preview card, so the app or service you share through will see it too.
This only ever happens because you tapped Share. Nothing is shared automatically, and playing without sharing sends nothing anywhere.
Sending feedback about a lab run
When you choose to send feedback. At the end of a run in the lab, the game offers a card where you can pick a verdict and write a note. Tapping Send by email or Text or share it writes that message out — the lab entry you played, your verdict, that run’s score, placements and lines, and whatever you typed — and hands it to your own email app or your phone’s share sheet.
The game does not send it, and never sees it. It composes the text and stops. You choose whether to send, and to whom; you can edit it or abandon it. It leaves from your own email or messaging account and reaches feedback@blozzle.app, so that account is what identifies you to us, exactly as it would in any other email you wrote. The verdict and the note are held in memory only while the card is open, and are never stored on your device or transmitted anywhere by the game.
The note box is free text, so please do not type anything private into it. What happens to feedback once you send it is covered by the terms.
Ordinary web server records
Like every website, loading a page means your browser connects to a server, and that server has to handle the request — which involves your IP address and the browser you are using, because the page cannot reach you otherwise. We do not build profiles from this, do not combine it with anything else, and have no analytics reading it.
No cookies, and nothing fetched from anywhere else
The game sets no cookies, and loads nothing from anyone else — no outside scripts, trackers, pixels or embedded widgets, and no fonts fetched from a third party. Once the page has loaded, the game plays entirely offline.
Children
Blozzle is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, children included. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children because we do not collect personal information at all.
Erasing everything
Clearing site data for this site in your browser settings removes every item in the table above. There is nothing held anywhere else to delete, and no account to close.
Note that browsers sometimes clear this storage on their own — Safari in particular removes it for sites you have not visited in a while. If your best score disappears after a long break, that is your browser, not us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the game ever begins collecting something, that will be stated here plainly and before it starts.
